Before having my daughter, I spent 10 years in non-profit fundraising and event planning. More than half of those years were working for the American Heart Association. I earned a degree in Print Journalism from Brigham Young University which fed my love for the art of storytelling which I have used to market charitable causes and garner community support.

After graduating college, I moved to San Diego and met my techie husband, Matt. We moved to the South Bay in 2011 for Matt’s job and we are both enjoying exploring another part of the Bay Area and all that this area has to offer. We both grew up in East Bay - me in Fairfield and Matt in Antioch and Livermore.

We had our daughter, Mia, in May 2015 and I decided to stay at home with her full-time. Raising Mia and being with her daily is the most wonderful - and often the most challenging - thing I’ve done. Motherhood is teaching me to embrace the importance of self-care and a whole lot of patience.

Besides being a mother and managing the affairs of our Sunnyvale, CA home, my personal interests range from writing, social media, event planning and building relationships. I'm also interested in running, cooking and music...especially singing.
