Through counseling, case management, research, programming, and policy advocacy, Kerline has tackled issues in education, unemployment, homelessness, substance abuse, mental health, and community re-entry for some of the most high-risk populations in Massachusetts.
Kerline is on a quest to improve social determinants of health and education in disenfranchised communities by supporting innovative public policies and programming.
Kerline currently serves on BAMSI Board of Directors. Kerline has served on the National Association of Social Workers Massachusetts Chapter Board of Directors and Racial & Ethnic Diversity Task Force; Education Pioneers Graduate School Summer Fellowship; and AmeriCorps through Jumpstart. Kerline earned a MSW from Boston College Graduate School of Social Work and a BA in Community Health and Child Development from Tufts University.
