Kermie Robinson
Kermie Robinson, MD has gained experience by serving in various sectors in the medical field in both Georgia and New Mexico. As a surgeon, physician, and instructor, he has enjoyed several different positions with medical schools, hospitals, and medical centers. Kermie Robinson, MD currently serves as a Physician at Southeastern New Mexico Surgery, an in- and outpatient facility that also offers surgical procedures. Prior to his present position, Kermie Robinson, MD took on such positions as Clinical Instructor at Morehouse School of Medicine; and General Surgeon at Grady Memorial Hospital, Southwest Hospital and Medical Center, South Fulton Hospital, Walton Regional Medical Center, and DeKalb Medical Center. Kermie Robinson, MD owned and managed Advanced Surgical Specialists of Northeast Georgia, which worked closely with local hospitals in employing the latest surgical techniques available.
Kermie Robinson, MD received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Xavier University in New Orleans in 1981 and completed his Doctor of Medicine at Tulane Medical School in 1985. In addition, Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine awarded Dr. Kermie Robinson a Master’s degree in Public Health in 1985. After graduating from Tulane, he carried out his surgical residency at Flushing Medical Center in New York. Today, Kermie Robinson, MD is board certified and serves as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Throughout his career, Kermie Robinson, MD has specialized in bariatric surgery, minimally invasive intestinal surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, and minimally invasive hernia surgery. He has presented on many medical subjects, including “Overview of Roux-en-y Gastric Bypass for Morbid Obesity” at Rockdale Medical Center, and a “Case report of Cecal Necrosis in a patient with cyclic Neutropenia” at Flushing Hospital Medical Center.
Although Kermie Robinson, MD keeps busy with his full roster of patients and other work, he manages to find time to read, and prefers Ernest Holmes and Deepak Chopra. Kermie Robinson, MD particularly likes Holmes’ work, The Science of Mind: A Philosophy, A Faith, A Way of Life, and Chopra’s The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success: A Practical Guide to the Fulfillment of Your Dreams.
