Kerry Badgley
Kerry Badgley was born at around 10:15 PM on January 29, 1986; He fell in love with music just a few minutes later. As a child, Kerry would spend hours in his room under headphones listening to bands like The Proclaimers, Moby, R.E.M, Savage Garden and Bryan Adams lip syncing every word and performing every note of every instrument to a tee with his air band. A perfectionist, if he hit a wrong "note" on his make-believe piano, he would simply start again. At age 16, Kerry obtained a computer program called Fruity Loops (now called FL Studio) which allows its users to make their own music. Naturally, Kerry spent hours every day just pouring ideas into it, even if he wasn't necessarily good at what he was doing yet. Since then, Kerry has gone on to release three moderately successful albums: Darkside, The Solid Black Arrow and Pieces to Yesterday. Now, along with guitarist Kamil Krawczyk and upcoming Canadian vocalist Sheldon Witt, Kerry is embarking on his most ambitious project yet: a high energy electro-rock album called Electric Lights. Electric Lights will feature an array of songs, including everything from fast to slow, rock to experimental to hip hop. As well, in addition to Kamil and Sheldon, some good local Canadian talent will be featured in each track. Electric Lights is due for release at some point in the Spring/Summer of 2011.
