So this is me.......

My outlook on life (I like to think) has always been positive. At all stages in my life I surround myself with people I like, people who have something to say and people who are genuine, kind souls. Don't get me wrong I've met some doozies along the way and have been caught off guard, the latter always seeming to hit where it hurts! But mostly I have chosen well and have a wealth of happy memories to tap into whenever I want.

I certainly work to live. I enjoy my work for sure, otherwise I wouldn't be doing it. BUT I like it even more for where it takes me, the experiences I have and who I meet along the way.

I've been in the newspaper advertising industry for just over 8 years now, you could say I have ink in my veins. Many facets during this time have given me a well rounded outlook of all things 'newspapers'. I can also say I have had the priviledge of working in an industry that has seen many radical changes in such a short period of time.....the shift in the way people are obtaining and consuming their news.

I have no doubt we are in for a crazy ride and I am excited to see what is around every corner!
