Kesha Ward, native of San Francisco and true Californian to the core, is the mastermind behind the It’s All Buttah brand of all natural, vegan skin and hair care products. Although natural products are becoming more readily available, it is still a challenge for consumers to find products for skin and hair that are truly vegan and free of harsh chemicals and additives. Ms. Ward, a Holistic Aesthetician and vegetarian, was inspired to create It’s All Buttah simply for that reason, “I grew tired of looking for authentic, natural products, so I decided to make my own.”

After nearly a decade of experimenting with Shea butters, essential oils and natural extracts, It’s All Buttah came to life in Fall of 2012. It’s All Buttah made its debut at the San Francisco Sample Sale where Kesha’s deliciously scented body butter and lotion bar creations sold out in the first two hours of the sale. After receiving such a positive response, and at the reassurance from family and friends, Kesha decided to create a website and sell the butters online (www.shopbuttah.com).

Similar to many of us, Kesha believes that “all natural ingredients are optimal for our skin; regardless of skin type. Nature has everything we need. All natural butters, oils and extracts are best for moisturizing and healing the skin.”

Ms. Ward studied Political Science at the University of California Berkeley, and received her Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of San Francisco. She also completed Esthetics training and obtained her Esthetics license from the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology.
