Kesha Nichols
CEO, Sugar & Spice Productions | Founding Partner, BlenDiva

With sweet southern charm and big city smarts, Kesha Nichols is a small town girl who can make any place feel like home. Born and raised in Drexel, North Carolina, Kesha discovered her passion for dance and the arts at Sherri’s School of Dance, where she trained for 14 years. She went on to receive a B.A. in Dance Education from Columbia College in South Carolina, and ultimately decided to make the big move to New York City to pursue her dreams in dance and entertainment. Soon after arriving in the Big Apple, Kesha booked a highly competitive spot as an NBA dancer, signed with top dance agency, Bloc NY, and has been featured in many film, television, and stage productions. Simultaneously, Kesha established her own dance and entertainment company, Sugar & Spice Productions, through which she directs and produces a variety of featured entertainment, live shows, and interactive productions, from music videos to celebrity and corporate events.
Kesha’s experience as a cast member on VH1’s Basketball Wives (Season 4) ignited a passion for bringing awareness to the bullying epidemic that is so prevalent today. She helps educate today’s youth about the importance of a positive self-image, confidence and personal awareness through dance, cheer and fitness clinics, workshops and boot-camps. Kesha is a keynote speaker and lecturer for public schools, universities and private youth organizations close to her heart. She also uses dance and performing arts as a vehicle for various charity work.
The definition of self-empowerment, Kesha used her personal experience as a bi-racial woman in America to help create and cultivate her lastest (and most important) venture to date. Along with friend and Broadway star, Syndee Winters, Kesha created BlenDiva, a lifestyle brand and community dedicated to the empowerment of embracing one’s multicultural background. BlenDiva is the first step in a movement to create a voice for the underdeveloped culture of “blended” individuals and families. Kesha believes it is her life’s work to develop this unique community and finally give those that have had similar struggles with self-identity, a place to belong.
Grounded by her faith and spirituality, Kesha looks on the bright side of life, sees obstacles as opportunities for personal growth and remains very close to her family and southern roots.
