--------------------------------

I recently graduated from Duke University where I studied Economics, Marketing and Management.

I am interested in marketing, sales and business development roles at companies transforming traditionally non-technical industries using technology.

I enjoy photography - you can check out my work on my tumblr blog.

In college, I became intrigued by the ways in which the internet was shaping the way in which we experience art. I have pursued my curiosity in art and technology through research projects and internship opportunities with Gallery Espace, Devi Art Foundation and Artkick. This has allowed me to work directly with art historians, curators, gallerists and collectors as well as entrepreneurs and engineers working to bring art to more people using technology.

I collaborated with fellow students on a project to analyze 14000 digital art sales on Sedition to develop a better understanding of what characteristics correlated with price and sales of these works. In addition to quantitative analysis, we interviewed digital artists, and business leaders in the field to get a sense of the market and surveyed viewers of digital art to understand how they respond to this non-traditional medium.

Last summer I worked with Artkick. Their app that allows one to transform one's TV into a digital frame for rich visual content. In addition to working on a successful marketing campaign, I recruited and worked with a group of artists to test a platform that would allow them to share their work directly with Artkick users.

I recently completed an assignment with Duke Arts Law and Markets Initiative. While there, I collaborated with data scientists and art historians, including my mentor, Prof. Hans Van Miegroet, to develop long-term data-driven art market research projects. While there, I lectured undergraduate and graduate students on the online art market and the future of the art world.
