Ketan Rana

Ketan Rana, an engineering drop out by choice, completed his Bachelors of Journalism and Mass Communication from Amity University. Along with his graduate degree he also equipped himself in the field of Graphic Designing and Visual Effects by joining the VFX course at Maya Academy of Advance Cinematics (MAAC) and later on shifted to Mumbai. He started his journey as an intern at Equinox Films where he worked on 3 Ad-Films of Met Life Insurance. Then he started working for Balaji Telefilms Pvt. Ltd on a TV series named Tere Liye – broadcasted on Star Plus. Love for the films encouraged him to enroll at Whistling Woods International Film School and he left his Job to pursue his dreams. During the 2 years Diploma course in Motion Pictures Production he made around 14 short films & 2 Ad Films, few won awards at National level competitions too. From film school itself he was placed at Ramesh Sippy Entertainment where he joined Mr.Rohan Sippy as an Assistant Director on the feature film titled Nautanki Saala. Clubbing all his experiences of working at various forms of media he started his own independent Film and Television Production House named “POSTMAN PIKTURES”. Currently he is working as an Independent Filmmaker & Producer in order to tell the stories in his own unique way through different mediums.
