Multi-instrumentalist, and writer Kev Bev Collins began creating music growing up in Frederick Maryland. Kev Bev studied a wide range of styles including ska, blues, indie-rock, pop, electronic, progressive rock , punk, hip-hop, funk , reggae, and African music. After moving to Austin Texas in 2010 the newest work had become very soul, funk, and hip-hop influenced. Kev Bev began playing his new songs out solo in 2012 and was quickly acquiring musicians for a large scale band. In about September of 2013 Kev Bev Collins and the Woodland Creatures band was founded. The 9 piece band with brings songs that are fun, powerful, silly, soulful, and easy to dance to. The band is currently working on a debut record schedule for completion in spring of 2015.
