After attending New York City Technical College for a degree in marketing management, he transitioned from intern to executive within the music industry. Kevin began working for Arista Records as the Urban Promotions Department assistant back in 1998, with hard work and a hustlers mentality he quickly moved up the ranks to becoming National Director of Arista Records Urban Promo/Marketing departments under the direction of Clive Davis and his later successor LA. Reid. After 9 years with the company Kevin left Arista to lead the marketing department for Ruff Ryders Records. In April of 2005, while working at Ruff Ryders Kevin formed EarPlay LLC, a radio promotions/marketing consulting company. He immediately picked up major clients and spearheaded many urban campaigns nationally.
As the music industry began to suffer many setbacks financially from the epidemic of illegal downloading in 2008. Kevin was no longer enthusied by the industries downswing and decided to switch gears by entering into yet another cut throat industry; Manhattan's Real Estate. Kevin’s street savvy and creative skills have been instrumental in propelling his choice of real estate. After two years of learning the real estate sales/rental business Kevin wanted to take on yet another task, he wanted to manage properties. Growing up Kevin coined the title “SOL” an acronym for Son of a Landlord, as his family owned investment properties in the Northern section of the Bronx. Kevin would only later follow in his parents footsteps by stepping into the real estate arena by joining one of Manhattan's most prestigous real estate firms focusing on residential sales & rentals. As he began to learn the business he focused on approaching some of his wealthy friends turned clientele asking to manage their properties, which were typically pre war townhomes and brownstones. He quickly built a healthy list of general contractors, plumbers, electricians, exterminators etc... Kevin was later introduced to a famous cosmetic icon through his wife and was given the task of managing a private portfolio of twelve buildings in the Greenwich/West Village section of Manhattan. It was the everyday task of managing this portfolio, which is what molded Kevin into a true property manager. Today Kevin is dually licensed to rent and sell property in both Manhattan & Westchester, he is also a member of REBNY and HGARMLS.
