Write a biography? About me? I guess I'm the closest to an expert on me as you'll find, so here goes... I grew up in the outskirts of Toronto as a kid who loves sports (Hockey, Baseball, Football, Rugby, Basketball, Curling, etc, etc). Once I had figured out I would never be a professional athlete, I fell just as hard for Marketing and Events. I had great opportunities to explore these fields while at Laurentian University (BA Law) and then George Brown College (Post Grad Sport and Event Marketing).
I've been fortunate enough to work on some great Events and Properties throughout my "Professional" (read: grown up) career. Some of my best work memories come from the Canadian Soccer Association, 2010 Winter Olympic Games, the FIFA U-20 World Cup, TELUS World Skins Game, MasterCard Memorial Cup, 2009 IIHF World Junior Championship, IMG Canada, ClubLink, and promo rep work on XBOX and Samsung. I will always have a soft spot for Laurentian University, where I grew from a fresh-faced 17 year old kid into a tired-faced twentysomething almost-adult... I was lucky enough to find myself picking up amazing experiences ranging from Athletics, Radio, Newspaper, and DJing to being involved with Student Government, and my first "real" job as a Liaison Officer.
I was most recently working for ClubLink, an owner/operator of over 50 golf courses in Ontario, Quebec and Florida. Sponsorship and Marketing is what keeps me busy during the day, while sports, pop culture, but mostly my beautiful wife and baby girl keep me busy the rest of the time.
