Kevin Helton

Hello, my name is Kevin Helton. I am currently in the Army Reserves. I have 16 years of military training, and that is most of my background. I have lead soldiers overseas in Bosnia and Iraq as well as lead them through training in the States.

I currently attend Full Sail University Online I graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Marketing and Media on September 29 2017. After I receive my Bachelor degree, I will go further into my education for my Masters in Sports Management. I currently have a 3.45 GPA.

I believe I would be a valuable asset to this organization due to my work ethic that I have learned from the military. I do not have mediocracy in my mindset. I want to work my way up to becoming a general manager of the league and one day set the team up that win’s championships and hangs banners. I want to chase rings.

After coming home from supposed to be deployed to Afghanistan, I decided to go back to school and get a degree in sports. I have always had a passion for sports, so why not pursue a career in something I love, and sports is very similar to the military that it will be an easy transition.

I am a family man with a wife and five kids. I have three step-daughters ages 15, 12, and 10. The 15-year-old plays volleyball at her high school. The 12 and 10-year-old play softball at their schools as well. I also have a 10-year-old son from a previous relationship who plays various sports (he has a passion for sports like his daddy), and I have a 3-year-old daughter who loves sitting in my lap while watching football and basketball.
