Kevin McCann

As you can see my name is Kevin McCann. Currently I am studying at Algonquin College; not exactly sure what I am going to after though I am sure I will find my fit one way or another. Business and biking both of which I have been passionate about for my whole life.

At Algonquin College I am in the second year of the Business Management and Entrepreneurship program which I have learnt a lot from and have proven to enrich my skills with selling in particular because I was able to take the lessons and put them into practice. But how exactly did I get to Algonquin?

I decided to start shoveling driveways when I was only 8 for no reason but to make money and pitched ideas to General Motors at age 11; needless to say I was and still am very driven in the business world. Now currently I am working for someone but on the side I do bike tune-ups and landscaping with some friends. Not exactly official but allows me to see how much it will cost to run my own full out business when the time comes. But really what kind of kid starts working when they are eight?

One with a lot of drive and one that wants to follow their dream. Now like any kid I started out on a regular bike, nothing fancy just basic. Once I realized that my parents only wanted to spend so much on a bike I decided if I could save extra money I could get a better bike and simply but that's how I got into business and to this day still love it. Business aside though biking to me is not a hobby but a lifestyle, adrenaline corseting through your veins and scaring the crap out of yourself all part of the fun. So in a nutshell that would be me, the one and only Kevin McCann.

And in business or in sports; you don't have to like winning, you just have to really hate losing.
