Kevin Ward

I am currently a Business Administration Major with an emphasis in Marketing at the University of Northern Colorado. I plan on graduating this coming May and hope to make an impact in businesses and the world when I graduate. I became a business student because I was not quite sure in what direction I wanted to head towards in my life. I felt business opened many opportunities that I could potentially find appealing to pursue. I've realized business is now vital to everyday life, and is important to understand.My hope is that through a Business Degree I can go into a Global area of Marketing. While I have not done much traveling, working at our School's Center for International Education has shown me that to be thrive in business, we need to see ourselves from a global perspective. A key area I would like to study in global marketing. To understand how to market to different cultures and backgrounds I think is critical to being successful in business. More importantly than that, I feel it is important to experience what the world has to offer. It is so easy to remain confined to what we know and never realize just how much is out there to experience. It is my hope that I can combine my sense of adventure with a career I feel I could excel at and see the world.
