Kevin Brigginshaw My career in management spans over 20 years, during which time I have gained wide-ranging practical experience in logistics, freight forwarding and 3rd party supply chain management . This includes four expatriate assignments in Sierra Leone, and Haiti, and covers the various disciplines within purchasing, procurement, logistics, security, freight forwarding and shipping, break bulk and containerised freight, international supply chain management (SCM) & development (SCD), bulk road haulage, express parcel freight (road & air) as well as cross-border road transportation. The most recent 8 years of my career have been closely aligned to Oil and Gas, Mining, Relief and logistics, shipping and freight forwarding, with a strong bias towards business retention and development, supplier/customer relationship management and supply chain optimisation. I have negotiated and concluded transactions with a number of blue-chip local and global corporate and MNCs, delivering to them a range of supply solutions third-party logistics, warehousing, distribution, supply chain management, freight forwarding and global procurement management. During my career I have had exposure to a number of business sectors that include Manufacturing, Engineering, Mining, Oil & Gas exploration, Relief Electronics, Local Government and the National Health Service I am a hands-on leader with a sound understanding of finance and budgeting, strategic management, turn-around strategies, operations, projects, business development, client relationship management as well as human resource development and industrial.
