Kevin Poulin is currently a junior accounting major in both the Isenberg School of Management and the Commonwealth Honors College at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Raised in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, he went on to graduate fifth in his class at Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, MA. Now, he is a Resident Assistant at UMass and is in pursuit of a career in public accounting.

As a recipient of the Deloitte Excellence in Accounting, the Dean's Academic, and the Massachusetts High Demand scholarships, Kevin is a very determined person, and he loves a challenge. He takes pride in working hard at everything he does. Whether its at his finance internship at Raytheon, in his accounting courses at Isenberg, or at the gym trying to get bigger and stronger for sports, Kevin is constantly striving to improve.

Kevin's passions include accounting and sports. He jumps at the opportunity to play any sport, especially hockey and golf. Kevin grew up playing hockey and golf, and they have played a huge role in shaping him into the man he is today. Being active in sports taught him core values such as hard work, perseverance, and fighting to achieve your goals. Kevin has and always will love to play sports, and he carries his passion for sports into his avid support for Boston sports teams as well.

If Kevin isn't involved in sports, you can find him in pursuit of his other passion, a career as a public accountant. Kevin aspires to work at a Big Four public accounting firm in Boston and hopes to reach partner level someday. He has a particular passion for audit, and he is ready to get down and dirty and to take on the demanding work of a career in public accounting.

Kevin is extremely excited to kick off his career at his audit internship at Deloitte for the upcoming summer of 2014. He is an outgoing, driven, and determined individual, and he is ready to take on any challenge that comes his way.
