I'm a Ph.D. student in History and a Mellon Science Studies Cluster Fellow at Northwestern University. My work focuses on the impact of automation and visions of a post-scarcity economy on 20th century political theory.
My previous work focused on the interplay between science and politics in the former German Democratic Republic, examining the impact of cybernetics on East German Marxist theory and the role it played in the reform-oriented New Economic System.
