Kevin Bennett

Austin native Kevin Bennett is a skilled and knowledgeable criminal defense attorney who represents those facing a variety of charges in his hometown. Bennett founded The Law Office of Kevin Bennett in 2007 after earning his juris doctor from the South Texas College of Law in Houston.

During law school, Bennett spent time working for the Honorable Judge Jim York of the 246th District Court of the State of Texas. Bennett developed a passion for the practice of law during this time, and he developed a true devotion for wanting to help those in need of legal assistance.

Bennett defends people who are facing criminal charges stemming from DWI, assault, theft, drug charges and various other misdemeanors and felony crimes in Austin, Texas. He handles each case with the utmost importance and works to get the best possible outcome for each client.

The University of Texas at Austin alumnus also represents students at the campus who are facing criminal charges. He represents students throughout Travis County in any criminal matter, in addition to working with students during disciplinary proceedings at the university.

While determinedly defending his clients from charges, he is also an active member of the legal community. By participating in organizations such as the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyer's Association, the Austin Criminal Defense Lawyer's Association, and the Court Appointed Family Advocates of Travis County, he is able to stay current on legal issues.

Kevin also enjoys traveling, attending sporting events and appreciating performing arts while spending time with his family. He also dedicates his free time to serving on his Church's Mission Committee.
