My name is Kevin Blackburne, and I am a freshman at the University of Georgia. My family and I have always been avid travelers, and traveling has always been one of my favorite hobbies. I have traveled to six continents, and I have lived in 3 of them. I enjoy the experience of seeing new places and learning about new cultures. Moving around so much, my family and I have always been very close, especially the tight-knit relationship I have with my big brother, Patrick. He has always been a great role model for me and someone that I have always looked up to. He was the one who got me interested in a variety of sports, which is a bond that we will still share today.

Other people in my life that have had a huge influence on me were my parents. My mom has always been a hard worker and has taught me that nothing in life ever comes easy and that you have to work hard to achieve anything. My dad has always had a lasting impact on me, and I know that I can talk to him about anything. He never gets mad about anything, and I know that is where I developed my calm, stress-free attitude.

In this picture, my family and I spent Thanksgiving break in Paris and Switzerland. Even though my brother is out of college, we are still a very close family and enjoy spending time on family vacations together. I am thankful for all the memories and opportunites my family has given me, and I can never thank them enough for that.
