With his background in retail management and training, Kevin Clark Zook is an educator who can share extensive real-world experience with his students. Mr. Zook is a skilled distance-learning instructor who has brought his experience with such Fortune 500 companies as Fry’s Food (A Kroger Company), LifeLock (A Symantec Company), Fiserv, DISH Network, and Walgreens to such higher learning institutions as the University of the People, Jesuit Refugee Services, and Grace Bible College.

Mr. Zook earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts and Sciences from Western Illinois University; his Master of Arts in Organizational Management from University of Phoenix and his Master in Science of Leadership from South University. Currently Mr. Zook is ABD (All but Dissertation) in his doctoral program; he will return to his doctoral program at the University of Phoenix to complete his dissertation.

As an instructor, Mr. Zook specializes in business, management and leadership courses. He also has taught economics (micro and macro), communications and public relations. Mr. Zook has served on the faculties of American Business and Technology University, Grace Bible College, The University of the People, Jesuit Worldwide Learning – Higher Ed at the Margins, Grand Canyon University, and Ashford University. He is proficient in learning management systems such as Blackboard and Angel. In addition to online instruction, Mr. Zook taught in the classrooms of Iowa Valley Community College District, Hawkeye Community College, and Buena Vista University.

Mr. Zook is equally at ease expounding on economic and business theories and relating those theories to what he has learned throughout his many years in retail management. He has held corporate training, managerial or leadership positions at Fry’s Food (A Kroger Company), LifeLock (A Symantec Company), Fiserv, DISH Network, Blockbuster, Walgreens, and Dollar General. He enjoys passing on such knowledge to his students and is passionate about helping them achieve their goals. Mr. Zook believes critical thinking is the most important skill they can learn. He makes himself available to his students and appreciates the diversity afforded by Internet learning. He teaches students located across the country and around the world. Most of his students through The University of the People, and Jesuit Refugee Services live in Africa and Southeast Asia.
