Fifty-five years of age.
Some days that says it all!
Other days I add that fifty-five is more fun than forty-five if you do it right. Grandkids for example - officially two; unofficially north of a half-dozen and climbing like a rocket. And six (mostly) grown kids that getting to be more fun though in some ways no less expensive than before they went out into the world. Add kids-in-law and extra added unofficial kids and grandkids and good luck with keeping up on THAT! But it all keeps the lap full...
What else? 40+ year ham radio operator; 22 year radio news guy and programmer (out since '99). I manage my wife's graphic design firm, keep it's computers and networks alive and well, and write, edit and do freelance audio work on the side.
My wife's firm is primarily known for wine labels and logos, though does a lot of other kinds of work (websites) as well. The company is me and three artists...and I'm probably the most replaceable, having no visual skills whatsoever.
I'm semi-active on social media. You can usually find me as KevinCole509 on Facebook, Twitter and Flickr... Tumblr again someday too, if I ever get this "spare time" thing figured out.
