Kevin Colvin
Director, Global Market Sales and Trading in New York
Kevin Colvin, a director in the global markets sales and trading division of Cantor Fitzgerald, was promoted from vice president in December 2013. Prior to this, Kevin Colvin was an associate in structured credit sales and trading for Odeon Capital Group, LLC, where he worked with senior research staff to provide pricing for private label mortgage securities and managed a small operations team in the company's middle office.
He obtained his education at the College of the Holy Cross, earning a bachelor of arts in economics with a concentration in accounting. At Holy Cross, he was involved in Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Mr. Colvin holds several licenses within his field, including Series 7 and Series 63, and is a candidate for Chartered Financial Analyst Level 2. Outside of work, he has an active lifestyle and enjoys various sports, such as snowboarding, lacrosse, surfing, tennis, and golf. His basketball team in the New York Urban Professional League won the winter 2015 championship. He also runs in different marathons for charity, such as the NYC Marathon with Team Robin Hood.
