Kevin Conlon
Educator, Administrator, and Artist in Columbus, Ohio
I serve as the Provost at Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD).
I was initially appointed as Vice President for Academic Affairs in 2011 and promoted to Provost in 2013. Previously I was Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs at Ringling College of Art and Design (RCAD), and Dean of Undergraduate Studies at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).
My education includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of South Alabama and a Master of Fine Arts from The Ohio State University. In addition to my administrative work, I'm also a consultant in assessment, curriculum design and institutional effectiveness.
My sculpture practice is an active one with recent commissioned projects either underway or completed for the Columbus Veterans Association; the Home History Fund of Xenia, Ohio; the Gallery for Taiwanese Literature and Literati at Aletheia University in Taiwan; the Georgia Medical Society; and the Westin Hotel Group.
