Deeply family-oriented, I’m an annoyingly committed Dad, grateful husband and in awe of my wonderfully ageing parents. Home-loving, self-professed DIY expert, garden labourer (the Boss does the pretty bits), King of the BBQ, real ale devotee, dangerous ice-cream maker. A sometimes runner, I totter along the tightrope of balancing my passion for great food with keeping my waistline in check. I love travel, language, different cultures. An atypical accountant (I’m often told - I take that as a compliment), at work, as in life generally, I’m warm yet professional, fair, tough when necessary, always dependable.
