At Central College in Pella, Iowa, Den Adel studied accounting and also minored in mathematics and business management. He graduated with honors and went on to land his first job as an accountant with the reputable firm of Hunt, Kain, & Associates P.C. in Oskaloosa, Iowa. In 1999, Den Adel was awarded the Andersen Foundation Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship. He then began his dissertation analyzing stock market valuations related to development costs.
Kevin is also an inspired educator. He has taught at the University of Iowa since 2009. Once a student there, he earned his doctorate of philosophy in accounting at the institution, he now enjoys teaching students the ins and outs of the accounting field. He also enjoys the environment that the University of Iowa offers to its students and faculty. With a wide selection of extracurricular and community events hosted by the school, University of Iowa has remained a home away from home for many.
