Kevin Gasvoda

Kevin Gasvoda is a founding partner of SG Capital Partners (SGCP), an integrated mortgage and investment firm in Stamford, Connecticut, that offers a range of innovative products focused on introducing private capital into the American housing market. Through SGCP, Kevin Gasvoda works closely with mortgage originators and investors to offer credit, capital, and risk management. He brings to his current position more than 15 years of experience at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he served as partner and advisory director. As a member of the firm’s mortgage department, Mr. Gasvoda managed the mortgage investments of external operating companies and headed the firm’s credit loan trading business. He left Goldman Sachs in 2013 to establish SGCP with his two business partners, Dan Sparks and Justin Mahoney.
Prior to his work with Goldman Sachs, Kevin Gasvoda served as a certified public accountant with KPMG Peat Marwick. He holds a bachelor’s in finance from the University of Colorado and a master of business administration from The University of Chicago.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Kevin Gasvoda remains actively involved with his local community, especially through youth sports. Over the years, he has volunteered to coach YMCA youth basketball, junior football, and Little League baseball. A Darien, Connecticut, resident, Mr. Gasvoda sat on the Darien Little League board for a number of years. Also heavily involved with local education, he belongs to the boards of trustees of the Darien Library and Waterside School, a nonprofit private school that serves low income families.
