I am a theoretical astrophysicist who is fascinated by the atmospheres of exoplanets. I serve as the director of the Center for Space and Habitability (CSH), a core science team member of the CHEOPS space mission of ESA, a project leader of the PlanetS National Center of Competence in Research (NCCR), and as an international (non-voting) member of the Science and Technology Definition Team (STDT) of LUVOIR.
