Kevin Adams

Kevin L. Adams Jr is a 24 year old man on a mission. The husband , father and author has committed his life and waking hours to do the work necessary to help young people overcome the fatherhood gap that is impacting the communities across the nation.

Kevin is a devoted husband , loving father and is one of the nations up and coming dynamic motivational speakers. He has spoken and led many workshops at schools , churches and conferences. In 2010 at the age of 20 Kevin recieved his license to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ. During that same year while attending Western Kentucky University Kevin wrote for yourblackworld.com founded by CNN contributor and former Syracuse Professor Dr. Boyce Waktins.

In his new book " Lost Letters To My Father ", The Young Mans Handbook for Creating Gentlemen out broken boys. Kevin documents his journey from boyhood to manhood, writing letters to his father as a teenager and replying to these letters himself as a grown man. The project appears to have made him into a surrogate father of sorts for young men seeking the kind of advice and mentorship he craved while dealing with his difficult high school years.

Kevin has decided not only to talk the talk but walk the walk. Most recently Kevin has started his new weekly 15 minutes of prayer and inspiration every Wednesday at 7pm eastern time. In the coming months Kevin will also be rolling out his mentoring program and non profit organization titled " Embracing Our Future Project" . The mission of these programs is to uplift , inspire and empower young men and women to go beyond potential. Kevin is also currently attending Simmons College Of Kentucky in Louisville , KY ; where he is pursuing a bachelors of theology. The oldest historical black college in the state of Kentucky.
