I started Home Care Assistance of New Jersey after my experiences volunteering in the activities department of many nursing homes. My family and I would play games and sing songs with the residents at these local senior facilities. It became clearer over time that if given a choice many of the residents would have wanted to stay in their own home. However, due to a bad experience or lack of caregiver resources they didn’t feel like they had any other option. In fact, one particular resident told me that it was still her dream to get back to her home and she was hanging on to that hope.

That day was a defining moment and what began as a volunteer effort has since evolved into a personal mission to provide the best senior care options for families. In 2005 we founded Home Care Assistance of New Jersey, a home care company that provides high-quality, consistent care.
