Kevin Oliver

Dr. Oliver has been teaching in the Instructional Technology program at NC State since the fall of 2005. He was promoted from Assistant to Associate Professor with tenure in the fall of 2011. He previously served as Co-Director of the Southeast Initiatives Regional Technology in Education Consortium (SEI-RTEC ) through the SERVE Regional Education Lab (02-04), and as Instructional Designer and Evaluator with the Learning Technologies faculty development group at Virginia Tech (99-02). Dr. Oliver has authored or co-authored more than 40 journal articles, magazine articles, and book chapters, and presented or co-presented more than 75 conference presentations on varied educational technology topics. Dr. Oliver has been inducted into nine honor societies, including Phi Kappa Phi and Phi Delta Kappa. He serves as a Consulting Editor for Educational Technology Research and Development (2006-present), and on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Digital Learning in Teacher Education (2005-present).
