Kevin Ramminger

I am a family at the center of it all. I've been married for nearly two years now to my high school and college sweetheart. We have grown our family to include a cat, two dogs, and most recently our son who will be turning one soon. We love to spend as much time together as possible in our Florida home (and outside it too).

If I could I would spend all my time with them but finances don't allow for it, so I am currently a software engineer working for a secure communications company. Some would call me a manipulator, bending and forcing the computer to do my will. I love what I do as I get to work on a variety of technologies and platforms which range from being older than myself to the latest and news breaking; I get to see where the field has been and where it is going, sometimes even in the same day.

I received both my Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) and Master of Science (Software Engineering) from Florida Institute of Technology in 2007 and 2009, respectively. College was a lot of fun with an abundance of wonderful memories and many new friendships, many that I continue to this day.

In my spare time I spend time renovating our home (painting, decorating, building), spending time with the neighbors (usually watching sports), watching a good movie (I'm a big fan of science fiction), or playing video games.

Before coming to Florida, I spent the majority of my young life in the land of beer and cheese, Wisconsin. It was a great place to grow up and I miss many of the people there and my family that I left behind there but I surely do not miss the snow and six months of winter. Much of my time there was spent in school where I mostly attended private schools.
