A Palo Alto, California-based author, Kevin Sharp previously was a regular book review contributor for Bookmarks Magazine. His work also has appeared in a number of other outlets, including The First Line literary journal, Fiction Attic Press, and 100 Word Story. Also the author of several screenplays, Kevin Sharp attended San Jose State University, where he earned a bachelor of science in communications and theater. He subsequently obtained a master of arts in education from the University of Phoenix.

In 2013, Mr. Sharp published a coming-of-age book titled After Dakota. Set in 1983 amidst such cultural milestones as the Cold War and the arrival of MTV, the novel tells the story of the plight of three young people who must come to grips with the loss of a friend who dies in a plane crash. Interviews with Mr. Sharp appear on The Bookcast and YAtopia websites, and he maintains his own website at www.kevin-sharp.com.

Alongside his writing, he is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
