Kevin Townsend

I am a PhD canidate at Iowa State University. I study high performance reconfigurable computing, which means I design processors specific to an application. The applications I have accelerated include DNA alignment, sparse matrix vector multiplication and markov field chains. The last two designs were also used to accelerate stereo image matching and text classification respectfully.
