Kevin Valdez

Hello there, my name is Kevin Valdez, I'm a 25 years old student of History based in Mexico City. As for myself, I'm also a wannabe weatherman beginning my studies on-line, and a 10 year straight self taught illustrator.

About my illustration skills: as a self taught illustrator, I honed my skills toward american cartoons and american comics, inspired mostly by the works of Fiona Staples, and Annie Wu, Other artist/illustrator that influenced my art style are: Luigi Lucarelli, Shaz, Sharkie19, PatoNegro and Loish.

My main work tool is my old bamboo connect tablet and Photoshop CS5, but also I work with Copic and Touch markers, Jovi watercolors, Lyra wood colors and ball point ink pen.

Achievements so far:

-Attended to my first expo "Illustra Fest" November 2016.

-I speak fluent English, and an advanced Italian.

-Recently graduated from the History major in FES Acatlán, Mexico.

Other Information:

-I like bands like Imagine Dragons, Bastille, Owl City and my favorite singer is Shawn Mendes.

-Right now, I'm into: Archie (2015), Umbreakeable Kimmy Schmidt, Avatar: The Last Air Bender, Pokémon Sun and Moon, The Loud House, Dan Vs, Steven Universe.
