Kevin Vorhis is an Employment Law attorney at Cohen Grossman, specializing in wage and hour litigation. He practices Plaintiff’s side hospitality industry litigation dealing with federal and state wage and hour violations, misclassification of employees, and overtime violations.
Mr. Vorhis has represented employees and employers in hundreds of state and federal wage and hour cases, including numerous class and collective actions. Mr. Vorhis has broad litigation experience, ranging from real estate and contract litigation to family and criminal law matters. Notably, he once represented the government of a Southeast Asian country in its bid for reinstatement of U.S. Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) benefits, submitting a brief before the U.S. Senate. In law school, Mr. Vorhis clerked for a New Jersey State Superior Court Judge. He is currently a member of the American Bar Association’s Employment Law Section.
Kevin Vorhis earned his J.D. in 2012 from Brooklyn Law School, and his B.A. in 2009 from the University of Florida. Mr. Vorhis is a licensed member of the Florida, New York, and New Jersey bar, and is admitted to the Federal Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
