Kev Reilly
I'm Kev!, I drive a Nissan Note w/ a Transformers decal, I'm badass! I'm a third year Web Design Development student at Abertay & apparently a Libertarian Strategist. Saying that, visit KevReilly.com, it's like Crossing Over w/ John Edwards, but we touch the bodies! Meanwhile I work in ASDA as a petrol attendant/greeter/checkout operator/porter and part time security enforcer for Joe 'No Time For Backup' Williamson whenever some shoplifting junkie makes an OJ Simpson-style run for the front door. I've been to court for them on several occasions and won everytime for offences ranging from shoplifters and racist drunks to petrol-pump vandals and serial flashers. (OK, maybe not the latter but it sounds more romantic than the 'inebriated teenage meth addict' type that you usually deal with). Care to be impressed by my credentials and career backstory? Well then… I started web designing in 1999 using Microsoft Word '97 and stolen Pokémon pictures from the Sky One website. In 2001 I moved to Yahoo!'s Geocities and started teaching myself HTML. I bought KevReilly.co.uk and a very basic hosting package in summer 2002 for the (now very) extortionate price of £20 per month. I designed my school's official website from mid 2002 until late 2003 and won a bunch of awards for it including the first 'Creative Digital' award for high-schoolers from the Scottish Executive (in which I beat out the whole country for the honour). I was featured in over ten nationwide geeky ‘tech’ magazines and almost every educational pamphlet produced in Scotland until 2005. In addition to appearing in paper media; I was on Nickelodeon shortly after it launched in the UK sometime during 1996 and also had a drawing shown on the now-defunct Children's Channel a few years earlier for which I was sent a goodie-bag with a mug, stickers and a hat within. On July 8th 2005 I was on for a ten minute appearance on the nationally-syndicated Los Angeles-based talk show, ‘Loveline’ with Dr Drew (Celebrity Rehab/Sober House, Sex With Mom And Dad), Adam Carolla (The Man Show, The Hammer, Crank Yankers) and Rob & Sheri Zombie (House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects and founder of the band White Zombie). The topic was relating to the London 7/7 Bombings earlier that day and the subsequent alterations to the then-in-progress G8 Summit at Gleneagles, Scotland...
