Hi, I'm a 67 year old writer whose first novel is called "Day of Reckoning" about the drug trade in Europe. I followed this with "A Long Road Home," a story of a sixteen year old boy, called Tommy Doyle, who is committed to a psychiatric hospital by his uncaring parents. He endures a mis-diagnosis, sexual and physical abuse and is given Electro-convulsive therapy. Can he ever enter the outside world with any confidence after his years of hardship in hospital? I wrote a sequel to this story and called it "A Love Like Ours." where Tommy has been discharged from hospital and meets Brenda, a tragic woman who has been the victim of domestic abuse. Tommy and Brenda fall in love but can they overcome the many obstacles put in their place and find true happiness? Just before Christmas 2013 I wrote and published a childrens' Christmas story and called it "Emily's Magical Christmas." I dedicated the story to my grand-daughter Emily, who was exactly 18 months old on Christmas Day. In February 0f 2014 I wrote "My 50 favourite Beatles Tracks" in recognition of the group's 50th. anniversary of having success in the U.S. after appearing on the famous Ed Sullivan Show. I followed this up with "50 Greatest Rolling Stones Tracks and 50 greatest albums of the 1970s. I'm currently working on another music book and have begun writing a thriller. My latest short story is called, "King Charles and the Captain." Released on April 6, 2018
