I'm a freshman. I'm from Moultrie, Ga. I am currently a full-time student at Valdosta State University. In August of 2012 I attended Savannah State University. At the time I wanted to major in Social Work. Due to a disagreement with my roomate, and missing documents that hindered me from registering for classes, I decided to leave the school after one semester. My plan was to transfer right after, but procrastination got the best of me.

When 2014 rolled around I motivated myself to get a job and apply for Valdosta State University. Before getting here I didn't want a roommate because of my previous one. So I tried to apply for a private room. Ironically I ended up with three roommates. Turns out they are actually just as nice and as quiet as I am.

Now that I'm here I feel like a newbie at everything, even writing. Sometimes I overwhelm myself when I think about all of the assignments I have ahead of me, but then I realize that it's all planned out over the course of the semster. I plan on obtaining a degree in Healthcare Administration, if I don't change my mind first. Healthcare Administration consists of managing a group of people or entire facility in a hospital or clinical environment. I do want in a hospital or even a university clinic. However I do not want to be behind a desk all day. I want to interact with the patients and learn who my co-workers are.

For now I work at Waffle House as a salesperson. I would eventually like to find a different job, and of course intern in the future also. I would even like to be envolved in some of the volunteering that Valdosta State University offers. After finishing college I would like to work in pediactric clinic or a hospital vacinity involving working with children.
