Keyatta Mincey Parker brings a diverse background of over 20 years in the foodservice industry that molds hotel expertise with fine dining and the fast pace of dance clubs. After years of walking the runway, and gracing covers, Mincey-Parker switched her focus to bartending and found an amazing bond between herself and the drinks that she was making. Her love to remain creative comes in her service as well as she takes the time to talk to guests, find out how they’re feeling and build a relationship, so she can truly craft. Thrillist named Keyatta one of the city’s female bartenders you “MUST KNOW”, along with Tastemakers making her one of the Top 50. Currently you can find Mincey-Parker partnering with some of the country’s most influential spirit brands, chefs, home bartenders, and farmers, to bring her message of creating picture-perfect cocktails. Mincey-Parker was featured in the Jack Daniels Black Book, Patron’s ‘In the Spirit’ Campaign, Charleston and Atlanta Food and Wine, and BevCon. Woodford Reserve named Keyatta Fan Favorite and she also represented Atlanta in the incredible Speed Rack Beat Cancer Competition as well as making the finals for Bombay Sapphire Most Imaginative Bartender 2020. Recently featured in Forbes and Punch Drink, Mincey-Parker originally from Liberia, adds a touch to cocktail creativity stemming from the ingredients of her childhood for inspiration. Because of her rewarding career in craft cocktails, Keyatta is currently splitting her focus to work on A Sip of Paradise, a barterder community garden based in Atlanta and The Jim Project, her non profit that is focused on training young ladies back home in Liberia in hospitality and bar culture as an alternative to prostitution and other unhealthy ways to make a living.
