Keyvan Azami

With 15 years of experience in developing front-office technologies for investment banks, Keyvan Azami currently holds responsibilities as global head of rates eTrading and algorithmic trading technology at Barclay. Keyvan worked as an analyst developer at several firms in financial services throughout the 1990s. As a senior developer with BNP Paribas, Keyvan Azami oversaw the design, integration, and implementation of a business intelligence platform utilized by the business chief operating officers and sales managers.

Mr. Azami also served as an options trade capture development manager with Barclays Capital. Over a period of two years, he spearheaded the development of integrated pricing and trade-capture functions for interest rate swaptions. The project involved close coordination between business and IT groups, and he headed trading-desk working groups that ensured that core operational requirements were met. Outside of his professional obligations, Keyvan Azami is strongly involved in the community and participates in the annual leukemia and lymphoma charity walk Light the Night.
