A Southern native, K. Fred Mills Jr. creates literary work that straddles multiple aspects of the human experience. Serious, playful, and willing to push boundaries with imperfect characters we can all relate to, he maintains a focus on storytelling about beauty, family/relationships, sexuality/gender, healing, overcoming obstacles, and coming together in hopes of connecting with everyone who encounters his poetry, short stories, and novels.
