I am a strong professional with demonstrated skills in nutrition and public health research, grant writing, program evaluation, and strategic planning. I currently work at the Center for Research Evaluation at the University of Mississippi, where I design strategic plans for research evaluations and conduct high-quality evaluations for health promotion and health education projects funded by institutes like the NIH. I am actively involved in CERE's collaboration with MCCTR and PODER. I also teach for the Department of Nutrition and Hospitality Management.

I am a recipient of the 2022 Outstanding Graduate Student and the 2021 Graduate Teaching Assistant Awards. I serve as a Board Member for the Society of Nutrition Education and Behavior and immediate Past Chair for its Student Division.

I am the recipient of the 2018 AcSIR-Kalam Fellowship and the 2016 Swami Vivekanand Youth Award. I am also a recipient of the Gold Medal for standing first in the order of merit for my master’s degree. At the University of Mississippi, I also serve on the Graduate Student Mental Health and Advisory Board. I am a strong advocate of Sustainable Development Goals and of women in STEM.

In her free time, she can be found reading novels or writing on different social media platforms. In particular, she is an active member of The Sci Community on Instagram.
