Hello everyone, I'm currently a full time student who aspires to work in the sports industry, but I also look for opportunities to use my communication degree in other areas to grow. Aside from taking courses in school, I've taken two courses with Sports Management Worldwide; finishing my Hockey GM, and Scouting course, along with my my Sports Revenue Management course. I'm finishing up my Associate of Arts degree in communications, and transferring to Simon Fraser University the following year to earn my Bachelors in Communication. I aspire to be either a sports marketer, coordinator of game entertainment and events, or to be a Sports anchor; preferably working for an NHL or NBA team. I was part of the Event Staff member for the NHL Heritage Classic in Vancouver. During this event, I worked with many individuals and explored different aspects of the business; things that a huge sporting event requires. One of the best things I've done in my sports career so far. I've also taken interest in attending Vancouver Fashion week 2013/2014 and have helped Vancouver Magazine at the 50th Annual Restaurant awards held in Vancouver. I've always been into what goes on behind the scenes of a runway show. The business, political, fast pace side of things. The work behind everything; the reason things happen. That's what intrigues me.I'm currently staying updated with sports and fashion as much as I can. I like to keep myself in the loop with the newcomers; athletes, coaches, and trends. I'm the kind of person that loves to have fun and knows what they want. I'm highly motivated, always determined, strong minded, adaptable, and a fast learner. I like to read marketing books, sport-related books, anything regarding to the positions I'm interested in, along with philosophical books. I like to live a healthy lifestyle and stay active. With that in mind, I have over a year of experience in an office setting and worked in sales. This lifestyle I like to live was great when I worked B2B sales. On that note, I've grown a lot as an individual and as a worker, and I can be a great fit for your workplace.
