Sunflowers Childcare was opened in 2006 when we welcomed 14 children on our first day. In the intervening years, we have grown from strength to strength and today we now run five rooms which cater for children from 3 months up to after school ages. Each child is in a room that is age specific for them and the curriculum developed for that room, which is based on the Sioltar and Aistear government guidelines, has been adapted for their individual needs.

Our opening hours are 08.00 til 18.00 Monday to Friday.

Parents are welcome to visit any time, no appointment necessary. We are located at the start of the Caherslee Road, across the road from Scoil Eoin Balloonagh Primary School on the left hand side.

Child-centred Montessori method of preschool learning
Well established weekly curriculum to provide stimulation and enjoyment for all age groups
Qualified and experienced staff
Nourishing hot dinners prepared daily on the premises
