Ms. Khady Maty NDIAYE is a young human rights lawyer passionate about citizens’ participation and environmental protection. Khady was a Vice President of the Junior Chamber International – Senegal, an organization in which she held various leadership positions over the last five years. She has been the Presidency of the Saint-Louis Section and National Treasurer General.
She specialized in local governance and sustainable development and has been coordinating and was involved in various social movements and projects in Senegal, Mali, Guinea, and Cote d’Ivoire. A community organizer, Khady is also known for her consistent activism. She has initiated and led an environmental project titled « Ndar propre » meaning « Clean Saint-Louis » aiming at cleaning up the banks of the Saint-Louis River and ensuring its reforestation. She has been consulting with various entities, including USAID, One Campaign, and the Gorée Institute.
She is currently a Program Assistant at the Francophone Africa Office of The One Campaign based in Dakar, Senegal.
She speaks French, English, and Wolof.
