Khalid Raza

Khalid Raza is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India. He has completed his Bachelor’s & Master’s Degree in Computer Science & Applications and also cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) & Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the same subject. He has published more than 10 research articles in refereed international journals, conference proceedings and as book chapters. His research area is soft computing techniques, artificial intelligence, systems biology and bioinformatics. He has received research grants on the research project entitled “Analysis of Microarray Data Using Artificial Intelligence Based Techniques” from University Grants Commission, Govt. of India and working as Principal Investigator. He has also received another research grants from Jamia Millia
Islamia under Innovative Research Activities on the title “Machine Learning Based Methods for Protein-Protein Interaction Prediction” and working as Principal Investigator. He is also receipt of Indian Academy of Sciences Summer Research Fellowship. He is reviewer of several international journals (Current Bioinformatics, Neural Computing and Applications, International Journal on Bioinformatics &
Biosciences, International Journal of Computational Biology, Informatics and Control), member of several conference review committees (WeST-2013, AIAA-2013, ACITY-2013, AISC-2014, ICCSB-2014, ICSC-2015), member of several professional bodies (CSI, AIRCC, IDES), and delivered many invited talks in national conferences/workshops.
