Miss Khanita Duangchaemkarn received her Pharm.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Care from Naresuan University, Phitsanulok, Thailand and completed her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at Biomedical Engineering Institute, Chiang Mai University. Currently, she is a lecturer at the Division of Pharmacy Practice, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Phayao, Phayao, Thailand.

Her research specialization is in Biomedical Data Engineering and Processing, specifically artificial intelligence and machine learning in clinical settings, predictive model in healthcare, and translational engineering in health and medicine.

She is very active in the international arena with leadership positions in the IEEE. She is currently a Membership Development Chair, IEEE Thailand Section, and Digital Media Ambassador for IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, the world’s largest technical society of biomedical engineering, working with international headquarter in New Jersey, USA since 2017.
