According to Socrates, “The only true wisdom is knowing that you know nothing.” Keeping these impactful and life-changing words in mind, Mohammad Khan continued his journey from Pakistan to United States in order to achieve success and to live an American dream. Mohammad Khan is a senior at North Carolina Central University studying Computer Information Systems. Mohammad came to United States in 2009 hoping to achieve success by starting his educational career through Durham Technical Community College, where he received his Associate degree with honors. Mohammad started as a junior in North Carolina Central University where he seeks true knowledge and wisdom to start his professional career. With his hard work and passion to achieve success, Mohammad recognizes as one of the top students in the program.
Based on his performance and eagerness to learn, Mohammad received multiple internship opportunities where he successfully promoted his college and program. In 2012, Mohammad worked with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina as an Enterprise Security Intern. In 2013, Mohammad received another opportunity of interning with General Electric Aviation as an Enterprise Resource Planning Intern where he soared and roared like an eagle and completed the internship with flying colors.
Outside his educational career, Mohammad is a full time employee at Subway. Being a full time student and employee is overwhelming for him, but he believes that “A successful man is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at him” (David Brinkley). In addition to that, Mohammad is highly active in social media and community service events. He likes to meet new people and explore different cultures. Mohammad has been to four different countries where he learned three different languages. Mohammad is fond of technology; he always believes that “technology is a part of human body, without it our body stops functioning.” Mohammad visions of living an American dream and be successful in his career. He wants people to remember him as an eagle who roar his way to success.
