Kevin Harris

I am a bilingual pastor in South Texas, near the Texas/Mexico border. I transitioned into ministry after 20 years as a small business technology consultant.

I came to know Jesus Christ as my Lord in 1976 and accepted God's call to ministry in 1981. However, it has taken a lifetime to pursue that call.

I have served the church in some capacity for almost 40 years.

I became an ordained minister on September 1, 2013 with Courageous Church, a Southern Baptist church plant in Fort Worth, Texas.

I served Courageous Church as Family Pastor and later City on a Hill church in Fort Worth as Pastoral Care Pastor. In 2017 I accepted a call to serve as Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church in Los Fresnos, Texas.

My years of business experience have given me the ability to handle difficult situations and complex projects and develop creative solutions that integrate diverse parts into a cohesive plan.

My personal strengths give me the ability to connect the dots, bring people together in a collaborative environment and fill in the blanks through careful and diligent research.

I am a fluent Spanish speaker I have a great love for the Hispanic population. Mission efforts and exposure to Latin America have also opened my heart to the people of Central and South America.

I am searching for my next place of service and seeking God's will and call for ministry.
